"Humbled" Limited Edition Print

This piece was painted from a deep love for the ocean. But if you know anything about surfing, you know it has a not-so-subtle way of humbling us.

This year I’ve been calling “the year I fell back in love with California.” In that process, I’ve been revisiting the places, memories, and experiences that shaped me — one of them being surfing.

There’s something about paddling out that reminds me how small we are in the best possible way. The ocean has a way of challenging us, humbling us, and still making us fall in love all over again.

I hope this painting reminds you to enjoy life to the fullest, stay humble, and not be afraid to try things just because you’re not good at them yet.
